Christmas Memories: Helen, Georgia

Why is it that life always seems to speed up right when I want it to slow down! I'm playing catch up right now on our blog, because we had so much fun in the past couple of months and I do not want to miss out on sharing some of our pictures and stories! Today, I'm sharing our Christmas memories from our time in Helen, Georgia. This is a beautiful, interesting, German town situated on a mountain with a river flowing through it. We took a road trip this time when we traveled during the Christmas holidays. Normally we would fly to Nashville and then drive from their to my parent's house in eastern Kentucky. This time, we drove the whole way from Texas to Kentucky. It was a great experience and we think we'll probably do it again sometime!

We spent an afternoon here in Helen, Georgia, exploring German chocolate shops, buying bread at a German bakery, and admiring the uniquely German architecture. It kind of felt like being transported to Germany temporarily! It was wonderful!
